The lower level has a built in fire brick braai with chimney on the
balcony. It has a medium size stainless steel grid. Wood, fire lighters, etc need to be bought and brought with.<\/p>\n

What facilities does the Lower level have?<\/b><\/p>\n

As a self-catering unit it will offer home
from home comfort. There is access to a large bookshelf of books. There is also
exclusive garden access. Serenity Massage and Beauty is located through the

What sort of flooring does it have?<\/b><\/p>\n

The floors are covered with wall to wall carpeting. Hermanus Heights Villa has a Kirby Vacuum cleaner and carpet <\/span>shampooer. The carpets are thoroughly cleaned after every occupancy.
<\/span>The carpets give warmth and comfort during the chilly winter months.<\/span><\/p>\n

What sort of stove does the unit have?<\/b><\/p>\n

The Lower level has a gas stove and oven. Kettle for hot water is heated on the gas plates.<\/span><\/p>\n

How to work the Self-igniting Gas Stove:<\/u><\/p>\n

Black button on the right is the ignition. (Works with Electricity)<\/span>
Black button on the left is the oven light.<\/span>

    1. Select the silver burner button to use.
    2. Press the black ignition knob and hold.
    <\/span>3. Turn and press in selected sliver burner button anti-clockwise.
    <\/span>4. The burner will self-ignite. (Light manually if power is off)
    <\/span>5. Choose setting between large and small flame symbols for <\/span>desired temperature.
    <\/span>6. Turn silver burner button to OFF to close flame.<\/span><\/p>\n

    How to work the Self-igniting Oven:<\/u><\/p>\n

    1. Select the silver oven burner button in the centre.
    2. Press the black ignition knob and hold.
    <\/span>3. Turn and press in selected sliver burner button anti-clockwise till <\/span>170 degrees.
    <\/span>4. The burner will self-ignite at the bottom of the oven. You will see <\/span>the blue flame through the small hole on the floor of the oven. <\/span>(Light manually if power is off)
    <\/span>5. Choose oven setting for desired temperature.
    <\/span>6. Turn silver burner button to OFF to close flame.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Due to power outages the gas stove and kettle offer the convenience of being able to cook without power.<\/span><\/p>\n
